1 cake mix (flavor of your choice)
1/2 c. butter or 1/2 c. vegetable oil
1 tsp. vanilla
2 or 3 eggs (according to amount on cake mix box)
Chocolate chips for a chocolate cake mix or butterscotch chips for a yellow mix

Stir cake mix, butter or oil, vanilla, eggs, and chips together and drop from teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes.

NOTE: Raisins, nuts, dried fruits, dates, or mincemeat may be added to dough.
