1 cake mix (flavor of your choice)
1/2 c. butter OR 1/2 c. vegetable oil
1 tsp. vanilla
2 or 3 eggs (according to amount on cake mix box)
Chocolate chips for a chocolate cake mix OR butterscotch chips for a yellow cake mix

Stir cake mix, butter or oil, vanilla, eggs and chips together and drop from teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes.

Note: Raisins, nuts, dried fruits, dates or mincemeat may be added to dough.
