BANANA RAISIN OATMEAL COOKIES 
1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
3/4 c. salad oil
1 1/4 mashed ripe bananas
1/2 tsp. salt
4 c. uncooked reg. oatmeal
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
1/2 c. raisins

Beat brown sugar and oil together until well blended. Stir in bananas and salt. Gradually beat in oats. Stir in walnuts and raisins. Drop by teaspoonful onto a greased baking sheet. Bake 10 to 15 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool on baking sheet for 10 minutes. Yields 4 dozen.
