MOM'S GOLDEN BAKED ONIONS 
8 med. or 2 lg. onions, peeled and sliced
1 stick butter
1 c. milk
1 can cream of chicken soup
3/4 lb. shredded Swiss cheese
Thin sliced French bread
Salt
Pepper
Parsley
Paprika

Saute onions in butter until they are transparent. Remove onions from pan leaving as much butter as possible and place in a baking dish. Salt and pepper to taste.

Mix soup with milk and pour over onions. Top with Swiss cheese. Dip the bread in the butter remaining in the pan from the onions and arrange on the cheese. Sprinkle with parsley and paprika. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes.
