GLAZED PORK CHOPS | |
4 pork chops (about 1 lb.) 4 orange slices 1 (10 oz.) can condensed beef broth Dash cinnamon Dash nutmeg 1 tbsp. brown sugar 1 tbsp. cornstarch 2 tbsp. orange juice Brown chops on both sides. Place orange slice on each chop. Sprinkle spices over chops, then broth and brown sugar. Cover and cook over slow heat for 35 minutes. Remove chops from pan. Then mix orange juice and cornstarch until smooth. Gradually add to soup broth and stir until thickened in frying pan. Return chops to pan and simmer about 10 minutes longer. Serves well with rice and winter squash. |
