MANGO BREAD 
1 c. sugar
1/3 c. butter, softened
2 eggs
1 c. mashed mango
1 2/3 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. chopped walnuts or pecans
1/4 to 1/2 c. raisins

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease bottom only of loaf pan, 9x5x3 inch. Mix sugar and butter in 2 1/2 quart bowl. Stir in eggs until blended. Add mango, beat 30 seconds. Stir in remaining ingredients except nuts and raisins just until moistened. Stir in nuts and raisins.

Pour into pan. Bake until wooden pick inserted comes out clean, about 55 to 60 minutes. Cool 5 minutes, loosen sides with a knife, remove from pan. Cool completely before slicing.
