CHERRY GLAZED SPONGE CAKE | |
1 c. butter 1 1/2 c. granulated sugar 4 eggs 2 tsp. almond extract Beat until fluffy. Add 2 cups flour. Pour in greased jelly roll pan. Spread out evenly. Lightly mark out 15 squares with knife blade. 1 can cherry pie filling. Drop a spoonful of cherry pie filling in center of each square. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes. Cool in pan. Sprinkle lightly with powdered sugar. |
