FROSTING FOR MARDI-GRAS CAKE 
1/3 c. white sugar
1/3 c. brown sugar
1/3 c. water
1 tsp. corn syrup
1 egg white
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar

Combine in saucepan sugars and water. Cook until forms ball in water. Beat one egg white with cream of tartar until it forms peaks. Add the syrup into the beaten egg while pouring in a slow stream. Put on the top and sides of cake.
