COUNTRY CABIN 
Brown 3 pounds chicken fryer for 30 minutes. Cook 1 1/2 cups minute rice, and put in bottom of baking dish. Pour 1/2 of sauce mixture (below) over rice. Place chicken pieces on rice bed and pour other half of sauce on chicken.

SAUCE:

1 onion, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
1 clove garlic
1 #2 can tomatoes (about 2 c.)
1 tsp. pepper
1 1/2 tsp. curry powder
1 tsp. chopped parsley
1/4 tsp. oregano
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can cream of chicken soup
1/4 c. currants (optional)

Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
