BEEF STROGANOFF 
2 lbs. filet of beef (round steak)
6 tbsp. butter
1 c. chopped onions
1 garlic, chopped
1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced
3 tbsp. flour
2 tsp. meat extract (Bovil)
1 tbsp. ketchup
1/8 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 can Campbell beef broth
1 tbsp. snipped fresh dill or 1/2 tsp. dry dill
1 1/2 c. sour cream
1/4 c. white cooking wine

Trim fat off meat; slice meat into 1/2 inch strips and halve each strip. In large pan melt some butter and brown meat. Remove browned meat into bowl. In same pan melt remaining butter, put in onion, garlic and mushrooms, cook about 5 minutes. Remove from pan and add to meat. In same pan put flour, meat extract, ketchup, salt and pepper; stir until smooth; add beef broth, wine, dill and sour cream; stir and pour over meat. Serve on rice or noodles.
