BEEF STROGANOFF 
2 lbs. filet (or good lean beef)
1 stick butter
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 c. flour
2 tbsp. catsup
1 1/2 c. sour cream
1 c. chopped onions
1 lg. can mushrooms and juice
1/2 c. wine
Salt and pepper to taste
Kitchen bouquet

Saute onions and meat (which has been sliced in strips) using about 1/2 the butter. Remove from skillet and add remaining butter, flour, mushrooms and sufficient water for thick gravy. Add all other ingredients but sour cream and simmer until very tender. When ready to serve, heat, then add cream. Serve over rice or noodles.
