"COLLEEN'S" BEEF STROGANOFF 
2 lbs. beef round steak
2 tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 c. butter
1/4 c. water
1 sm. onion, chopped
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 c. bouillon
1 tbsp. catsup
1 c. mushrooms
2 tbsp. sherry (optional)
1 c. sour cream

Combine salt, flour, pepper, and garlic. Pound into the meat which has been cut into small bite-size pieces. Melt butter, add onion and meat, brown this. Add water, Worcestershire sauce, bouillon and catsup. Cover and simmer 1 hour or until the meat is tender. Add mushrooms, sherry and simmer 1/2 hour longer.

Just before serving, add the sour cream. Serve over egg noodles. Serves 6.
