“ITALIAN SAUSAGE PASTA” IS IN:

ITALIAN SAUSAGE PASTA 
6 Italian sausage links
1 (16 oz.) pkg. linguine pasta
4 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
1 large sweet Vidalia onion, thinly sliced
1 green or red bell pepper, cored and chopped
1 tbsp. minced garlic
1 (14.5 oz. or larger) can diced Italian tomatoes
1/2 tsp. basil
1 (10.5 oz.) can or carton chicken broth
2 cups broccoli florets
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1/4 tsp. red pepper flakes

Prepare pasta according to package directions.

In a skillet with olive oil, sauté sausage, onion and bell pepper over medium high heat until well browned and center of sausage is no longer pink. Add garlic in the last few minutes of cooking. Cool for several minutes, then cut into 1/2 inch slices.

Stir in tomatoes, basil and chicken broth. Bring to a simmer. Add broccoli, pepper seasoning and cooked pasta. Cook until broccoli is tender, about 5 minutes. Add sausage; toss well. Taste and adjust seasoning.
