COLONIAL CRUMB CAKE 
2 c. brown sugar
2 c. flour
1/2 c. butter
Nuts (opt.)
1 egg, unbeaten
1 c. sour milk
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon

Blend brown sugar and flour in bowl, then add butter and blend again. Reserve 3/4 cup for crumbs. Add egg, sour milk, soda, cinnamon (and nuts if desired). Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour. 8 1/2" deep, round pan.
