1 c. shortening (1/2 shortening, 1/2 butter)
2 c. sugar
3 c. flour
4 eggs
Vanilla to taste

Grease 9 x 13 inch pan. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Spread 1/2 batter on bottom of pan. Spread 1 can of pie filling on top of batter. Spread other half of batter on top of pie filling. Bake at 400 degrees for 40-45 minutes.
