ONE, TWO, THREE, FOUR CAKE | |
1 c. butter or 2 sticks 2 c. sugar (2 tbsp. at a time & beat for 25 minutes) 3 c. flour (maybe 3 1/3 or 3 1/4 c.) 4 eggs (5 if small), separated 1 c. milk 1 tsp. vanilla 3 level or 2 rounded tsp. baking powder 1/2 c. melted chocolate Add baking powder in last and egg whites that have been beaten by rotary beater. When folded in cake batter, turn to lowest speed. Add melted chocolate. FILLING: 3 c. sugar 1 lg. can Carnation milk Butter, size of an egg Cook until soft ball in water.
