ONE, TWO, THREE, FOUR CAKE 
1 c. shortening or butter
2 c. sugar
3 c. flour
4 eggs
1 c. milk
2 tsp. baking powder (rounded)
1 tsp. vanilla

Beat butter, sugar and eggs, one at a time, until light. Sift flour and baking powder together. Add flour and milk alternately. Add vanilla. Bake in 4 greased and floured pans for 15 minutes at 375 degrees. Use cream icing and add pineapple on layers if desired.
