BAKED APPLE DUMPLINGS 
1 stick butter
5 apples, sliced
10 count can biscuits
2 c. sugar, extra sugar
2 c. water
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Pinch of salt

Roll out biscuits the size of saucers. Put half of each apple in biscuit; sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon. Pull biscuit, pinch together. Repeat for each biscuit.

Boil 5 minutes 2 cups water, 2 cups butter, salt and vanilla. Pour over dumplings. Bake for 40 minutes at 375 degrees.
