HOT DOG SOUP 
1/2 c. lentils
5 c. water
1 med. onion, minced
3 potatoes, diced
3 or 4 carrots, diced
2 stalks celery, diced
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 bay leaf
1/2 tsp. oregano
Dash of garlic powder
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
8 oz. can tomato sauce
2 or 3 hot dogs, sliced
1/2 c. broken spaghetti
1 tsp. oil

Simmer lentils in 4 cups water for 30 minutes. Add vegetables, seasonings, Worcestershire and tomato sauce. Simmer until vegetables are tender. Add sliced hot dogs, broken spaghetti, and oil to soup. Cover and simmer 15 to 20 minutes until spaghetti is cooked. You will probably need to add last cup of water; it's quite thick after spaghetti is cooked. Remove bay leaf.
