2 tbsp. light corn syrup
3 tbsp. peanut butter
2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
2/3 c. milk

Put sugar, corn syrup, and milk into pan. Heat, stirring constantly, until sugar dissolves. Continue cooking, stirring frequently, until it forms a firm ball in cold water. Add butter and cool until lukewarm. Add peanut butter, baking powder, and vanilla. Beat until creamy and it has lost its gloss. Pour into buttered pan and cut in squares.
