1 stick butter
1 box light brown sugar
3 eggs
2 c. self-rising flour
1 tbsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts

Oven 325 degrees. Melt butter - add sugar. Mix well (will be stiff). Add eggs (beat whites separate), the flour, vanilla and last nuts.

Pour in long pan and bake. Don't brown too fast - if this happens cut oven down to 250 degrees. Bake 30-45 minutes.
