6 c. sugar 1 1/2 c. butter 1 1/3 c. evaporated milk 2 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips 1 (13 oz.) jar marshmallow cream 2 c. chopped nuts (optional) 2 tsp. vanilla Stir sugar, butter, and milk in heavy 5-quart pan. Bring to full boil, stirring constantly. Boil 5 minutes over medium heat or until candy thermometer at 234 degrees, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Gradually stir in chocolate chips until melted. Add remaining ingredients; mix until well blended. Pour into 2 cooking sprayed 9x13 inch pans. Cool at room temperature. Cut into squares. 6 pounds. |
