MARY'S DILLY BREAD 
2 pkgs. yeast
1/2 c. warm water
2 eggs
2 1/2 c. cottage cheese (sm. curd warm)
2 tbsp. butter
4 tbsp. shortening
2 tsp. salt
1/3 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. baking soda
3 tbsp. minced onion
1 tsp. dill seed
1 tsp. dill weed
4-5 c. flour

Dissolve yeast in warm water. Add everything else except flour. Mix well. Add flour for soft dough; let rise until double in bulk (about 2 hours). Divide evenly into 3 greased loaf pans and let rise until double again (1 hour). Bake 50 minutes at 350 degrees. Serve warm or toasted.
