FRENCH BREAKFAST PUFFS 
1 egg
1/3 c. soft shortening
1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 c. milk
6 tbsp. melted butter
1/2 sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon

Mix together thoroughly egg, shortening and sugar. Mix together in small bowl flour, baking powder, salt and nutmeg. Add to egg mixture and stir in alternately with milk. Fill greased muffin cups 2/3 full. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. Immediately roll in butter, then sugar mixture.
