BEANS N WIENERS WAIKIKI 
2 tbsp. butter
1/4 c. onion, chopped
1/3 c. green pepper, chopped
1 (20 oz.) can pineapple rings, drained (reserve syrup)
1 pkg. wieners, cut in chunks
2 tbsp. vinegar
1 tbsp. soy sauce
1/3 c. catsup
1/3 c. brown sugar, packed firm
31 oz. pork and beans
1 can chow mein noodles (optional)

Cut pineapple into chunks, reserving 3 to 4 rings for garnish. Saute green pepper, onion, pineapple chunks and wiener chunks in butter. Simmer 5 minutes. Add pineapple syrup, vinegar, soy sauce, catsup and brown sugar; heat until bubbly. Pour pork and beans into baking dish; add pineapple mixture. Stir gently to blend. Place halved rings on top of casserole. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Garnish with chow mein noodles if desired.
