BEANS'N WIENERS WAIKIKI 
2 tbsp. butter
1/4 c. onion, chopped
1/2 c. green pepper, coarsely chopped
1 can (20 oz.) pineapple rings, drained, reserve syrup
1 pkg. wieners, cut into chunks
2 tbsp. vinegar
1 tbsp. soy sauce
1/3 c. catsup
1/3 c. brown sugar, packed firm
1 can (31 oz.) pork and beans

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cut pineapple into chunks. Saute green pepper, onions, pineapple and wiener chunks in butter. Simmer 5 minutes; add pineapple syrup, vinegar, soy sauce, catsup and brown sugar, heat until bubbly. Pour pork and beans into baking dish; add pineapple mixture; stir gently to blend. Bake for 30 minutes. Serves 6 generously. NOTE: I drain the pineapple mixture before adding to pork and beans.
