BAVARIAN CREAM MOLD WITH
STRAWBERRIES
 
2 tbsp. gelatin
1/4 c. cold water
2 1/2 c. milk
3/4 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
8 macaroons, crumbled
1 c. cream, whipped
Fresh strawberries

1. Soak the gelatin in the 1/4 cup cold water for 5 minutes.

2. Scald the milk and add the sugar and salt. Add the softened gelatin and stir until the gelatin is completely dissolved. Chill.

3. When the mixture begins to thicken, add the vanilla and beat until fluffy. Fold in the macaroons and cream.

4. Pour into a ring mold and chill until firm.

5. Unmold and fill center with fresh strawberries. Serves 6.
