PEACH SURPRISE BARS 
1 pkg. Duncan Hines Butter cake mix
1 egg
1 stick butter, melted
1 c. pecans, chopped

FILLING:

Reserved 2/3 c. cake mix
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 1/2 c. dark Karo
1 tsp. vanilla
3 eggs
2 c. pecans

Mix first 4 ingredients and press into greased 9x13 pyrex dish or pan. Cook 350 degrees until light brown. Remove from oven and pour filling on (except pecans).

Sprinkle pecans on top and bake about 30 to 40 minutes or until the consistency of pecan pie. Cool and cut into bars.
