FRESH STRAWBERRY COFFEE CAKE 
1 c. flour
1/2 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. milk
1 egg
2 tbsp. butter, melted
1 1/2 c. sliced, fresh strawberries

TOPPING:

1/4 c. butter
1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. sugar

Sift flour, sugar, baking powder and salt; turn into small bowl of electric mixer. Add milk, egg and butter; beat until blended. Spread in buttered 8 x 8 x 2 inch pan. Top with strawberries.

For Topping: Mix butter into flour and sugar until mixture resembles cornmeal. Sprinkle over strawberries. Bake at 375 degrees for 40 minutes.
