ITALIAN SAUSAGE AND PEPPERS 
1 1/2 - 2 lbs. Italian sweet sausage
3-4 green peppers (OR 1 of red, green, yellow)
butter
1 env. Spatini spaghetti sauce mix
1 sm. can tomato paste
1 lg. onion, sliced
3/4 c. water
Basil, oregano, sugar & garlic, to taste

Boil sausage in large pot for 30-35 minutes. Meanwhile, saute peppers and onions in butter in large frying pan. Add Spatini spaghetti mix, tomato paste, water and seasonings. Cut sausage into serving pieces and add to peppers. Cover and cook a little bit longer.
