ITALIAN SAUSAGE AND PEPPERS 
2 pkg. Italian sweet sausage (6-8 links/pkg.)
1 pkg. Italian hot sausage
2 cans stewed tomatoes
4 onions, sliced into rings
3 bell peppers, cleaned & cut into strips

Put sausage in skillet. Brown well on all sides. Put a cup of water in skillet. Cover with a tight fitting lid. Lower heat and steam until sausage is well done (turn sausage occasionally). When fully cooked, remove sausage from pan and remove membrane surrounding meat. Drain fat and broth from skillet.

Return meat to skillet. Put tomato and onion slices over meat. Put green peppers over onions. Cover skillet and simmer until vegetables reach desired doneness. Serves 8-10.
