PASTA WITH MUSHROOMS & TOMATOES 
2 cloves garlic, crushed
3/4 oz. fresh mushrooms
1 oz. cooked ham
1 c. canned plum tomatoes
1/3 c. olive oil
2 tbsp. chopped parsley
1 oz. Parmesan cheese or 1/3 c. grated
1 lb. macaroni or any tubular pasta

Lightly crush garlic, cut mushrooms into thin slices. Cut ham into 1/8 inch strips. Chop tomatoes. Combine oil and garlic. Cook until golden. Discard garlic. Add ham and tomatoes, mushrooms and parsley, salt and pepper. Cover and simmer on low 15 minutes. Grate cheese. Cook pasta. Add sauce and toss over medium heat. Mix in cheese. Serve hot.
