CHESS CAKE 
2 sticks butter
1 box light brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. nuts
4 eggs
2 c. self-rising flour
1/2 c. confectioners' powdered sugar

Melt butter. Pour over brown sugar - mix well. Add other ingredients in order. Beat by hand after each ingredient. Pour into greased pan (13x9). Bake at 350 degrees for 35-45 minutes. Let cool about 10 minutes. Then roll in powdered sugar. Put in airtight bowl.
