CHICKEN & DUMPLINGS MEAL 
2 to 3 lb. chicken
2 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. water
1 c. sliced onion
1/4 tsp. poultry seasoning
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 pkg. (10 oz.) frozen mixed vegetables
1 c. packaged Bisquick mix
1/3 c. milk

Salt and pepper the chicken and brown in butter in heavy skillet. Add water, onion, poultry seasoning; cover and simmer 30 minutes. Stir in soup, vegetables. Bring to boil, cover and simmer 10 minutes more; stir now and then. Combine Bisquick mix and milk and spoon dumplings onto stew. Cook uncovered 10 minutes. Cover and cook 10 minutes longer. 4 servings.
