CHESS PIE 
1/2 lb. country butter (or 2 sticks butter)
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. vinegar
1 tsp. corn meal

Melt butter over low heat; add sugar and dissolve. Mix well. Add vanilla, vinegar and corn meal. Beat in eggs one at a time. Pour into unbaked pie crust and bake for 30 to 35 minutes at 325 degrees.
