The Trawler was a favorite for locals and tourists. I grew up in Charleston going there for many types of occasions. Loved it and I was always more than willing to wait awhile for a seat near the water.

I've made this recipe many times but I've always included a splash of Worcestershire sauce, pinch of lemon and equal parts Thousand Island and French dressing. Add these and I think you'll get closer to the original recipe.
