MICROWAVE CARAMEL CORN | |
10 c. popped popcorn 1 c. peanuts (opt.) 3/4 c. packed brown sugar 1/2 c. butter 1/2 tsp. vanilla Prepare popcorn, remove unpopped kernels. Place brown sugar and butter in bowl, microwave on High 1 to 2 minutes, or until comes to a boil, stirring occasionally. Microwave an additional 2 minutes, stir after 1 minute. Stir in vanilla. Pour over popcorn, toss to coat. Put 1/2 mixture into a microwave 12"x8" dish. Cook on High 1 to 2 minutes or until well coated, stirring once. Spread on wax paper to cool. Repeat with remaining mixture. |
