MAW'S FRIED CHICKEN 
1 cut up fryer
1 c. flour
1 beaten egg
1 tsp. garlic salt
1/2 tsp. black pepper
Buttermilk

Cover with buttermilk; refrigerate and let set an hour. Remove; drain and dip in the above mixture. Have 1 quart vegetable oil heated to desired temperature and fry until brown and crisp.
