This recipe was on the can of hunts sauce in the 1950's. It is the best ever, always moist and has been a favorite of my family for more than sixty years. I had lost the recipe and couldn't remember the addition of vinegar brown sugar and mustard etc. Which is what gives it a wonderful flavor. Was delighted to find it here. Favorite for more than 60 years.

I grew up with this meatloaf, thinking it was my Mom's secret recipe. After she passed away, I found a faded tomato sauce label with the recipe on it. This is comfort food from the get go. It has a Sweet and Sour type sauce that is fantastic and mashed potatoes are a must with it and the sauce. Been eating this for over 60 years, and it was what I "taste" when I hear "Meatloaf".
