SUNDAY BEST SWEET ROLLS 
Rolls:

2 pkg. quick rise yeast
4 1/2 c. all purpose flour
1/3 c. sugar
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. water
1/3 c. butter
2 eggs

In large mixer bowl combine yeast, 2 cups flour, sugar, and salt. Mix well, heat milk, water and butter until warm (120 - 130°F). Add to flour mixture. add eggs, beat 3 minutes at medium speed. Gradually stir in enough remaining flour to make a soft dough. cover and let rise in warm place for 15 minutes.

Either roll dough out or form rolls the size you want them. Place on greased pan. Make thump print in each roll. Let rise in warm place about 30 minutes. Place fruit of your choice; apricot, peach, etc., in the center of roll.

Bake 15 minutes at 375°F.

Topping:

1/4 c. fruit juice
3 tbsp. sugar

Brush rolls, bake 5 - 7 minutes longer or until golden brown. If any fruit juice is left, add powdered sugar and brush rolls as soon as they come out of the oven.
