1 lb. butter
6 eggs
1 lb. box powdered sugar
3 c. Softasilk cake flour
3 tsp. vanilla extract

Beat eggs and butter well on high speed. Add box of powdered sugar; beat well. Add 1 cup of powdered sugar at a time beating well after each addition. Add the 3 teaspoons of vanilla extract and beat well. Bake in tube pan at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 hours or until toothpick inserted into cake comes out clean.
