OH SO GOOD PECAN CAKE | |
1 c. butter 1 c. butter 3 1/3 c. sugar 6 eggs 4 c. flour 1 tsp. baking powder 2 tsp. vanilla 1 c. milk 2 c. pecans, chopped Cream butter, butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs and beat well. Sift flour with baking powder; add to batter alternately with milk and vanilla. Stir in pecans. Pour into a greased and floured 10" tube pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 3/4 to 2 hours. Insert straw to test for doneness. Cool. No need to frost. P.S.Not a dieter's recipe! |
