CHICKEN AND GARLIC PASTA SALAD | |
1 (16 oz.) pkg. Green Giant Pasta Accents garlic seasoning frozen vegetables and pasta 1 (5 oz.) can chicken, drained 1/4 c. mayonnaise 1 tbsp. milk Prepare frozen vegetables and pasta as directed on package. Cover; refrigerate 1 hour. Add chicken to vegetables and pasta; toss well. In small bowl, stir mayonnaise and milk together. Add to vegetable mixture; stir well to coat. Cover; refrigerate until ready to serve. 3 (1 1/3 cup) servings. NOTE: When you have time, cook chicken ahead and store it in the freezer. After cooking the chicken, cool it and cut it into cubes. Place the cubed cooked chicken in freezer-proof containers or bags. Label each package with the date and contents. Cooked chicken can be frozen for up to 6 months. When you don't have time to cook fresh chicken, use the convenient canned or frozen products found in most grocery stores. Some larger stores may also sell cooked chicken in the deli section. |
