BISCUIT MIX 
8 c. flour
4 tbsp. baking powder
10 tbsp. dry milk solids
4 tsp. salt
1 c. lard

Sift dry ingredients and cut in lard until crumbly. Store in an air-tight container.

BISCUITS FROM MIX:

1/2 c. water
2 1/2 c. biscuit mix

Stir water in mix. Then turn onto a lightly floured surface and knead for 30 seconds. Pat to 1/2 inch thickness and cut into biscuits. Bake at 450 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes. Yields: 10 to 12 biscuits.
