BANANA CAKE - 3 LAYERS 
2 c. sugar
1 c. Crisco
4 eggs

Beat well until very creamy. Crush 3 medium sized ripe bananas and add to mixture and beat well again. Add 3 1/2 cups cake flour and 1/2 teaspoon salt alternately to the mixture with 1 cup sour milk and 1 teaspoon baking soda. Sprinkle 2 level teaspoons baking powder over this and beat well. Pour into 3 greased and floured cake pans and bake at 375 degrees for 25 minutes.
