JOHNNY CAKE 
1 1/4 c. flour
3/4 c. cornmeal (Hodson)
3 tsp. baking powder
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. sour cream
1 egg

Stir sour cream and egg together. Stir in dry ingredients, wet with buttermilk to stir nicely, about 1/2 c.

Pour into 9x13 pan although I double and triple this recipe. Bake at 350 degrees 1 hour. Should be nice and brown on top. Serve with maple syrup.
