2 c. flour
4 1/2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt
1 c. cornmeal
3 eggs
1 c. milk
1/2 c. maple syrup
3/4 c. vegetable oil

Combine dry ingredients in a large bowl. Combine liquids. Mix with dry ingredients just enough to dampen. Pour into 8 x 8 inch greased pan. Bake in a 400 degree oven until brown, about 30 minutes. Serve warm.
