POLISH POTATO CASSEROLE 
1 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. all purpose flour
2 c. milk
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
4 lg. potatoes, thinly sliced
1 lg. onion, thinly sliced
1/2 lb. shredded cabbage
1/2 lb. Kielbasa, sliced thin, cooked and drained

In medium sauce pan, melt butter, stir in flour, cook 1 minute, gradually add milk. Stir constantly. Cook over moderately low heat, Stirring until the sauce begins to thicken to the consistency of buttermilk. Stir in salt and pepper. Grease a 2 1/2 to 3 quart casserole dish. Spread 1/3 of potato slices on bottom. Layer 1/2 of onion slices, then 1/2 cabbage and 1/2 Kielbasa. Add 1/3 of sauce. Repeat layers, top with potato and sauce. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
