HONEY OATMEAL COOKIES 
1 1/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
1/3 c. honey
2 eggs
1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
2 c. reg. oatmeal
1 c. raisins
1/2 c. nuts, chopped

Mix sugar, shortening, eggs and honey. Stir in remaining ingredients. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls 2" apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes or until brown. Remove immediately from baking sheet.
