HONEY OATMEAL COOKIES 
1 1/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
2 eggs
1/3 c. honey
1 3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
2 c. oatmeal
1 c. raisins
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Heat oven to 375 degrees. Mix sugar, shortening, eggs and honey. Stir in remaining ingredients. Drop dough by teaspoonfuls about 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake until light brown, 8 to 10 minutes.
